Ken Rockwell...

The best website ever for people wanting to get into photography is:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/
He gives you no simple no B.S advice on everything to do with photography.

Before I came across his site photography for me was really confusing and seemed very expensive - you have to buy a latest hi-tech camera and loads of complex accessories etc. etc.

What I like about Ken rockwell is he understands all the photography industries tactics for bamboozling the customer and helps you find a camera suitable for what you want to do and for how much you have to spend.

Next post I'll talk more about what gear I ended up getting.

Here's one of Ken's shots:

  18. As if the industry wasn't bad enough, you have a bunch of kids like me who don't understand it, but pretend to, in order to make a sale. Then you really don't know what's up.
