They were made for amphibious assaults and supply transport... that does not look quite like one of the original models so that might be a custom made modern version.. but many of the ones built for WWII are still in service ;)
It does look like it could sink at any moment = the water level is up to the windows! bet they have to be careful about how many obese people they let on...
