Obama at the houses of parliament...
President Obama has been in the UK for the last two days, and yesterday he became the first American president to address both houses of parliament. I Was passing by just as his motorcade was leaving. Got a cool shot of a secret service guy...

OMG IT'S.....THE SHARD!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shard_London_Bridge
This is a mega sci-fi skyscraper that's still being built. I want to get a night shot cos when it's dark and lit up it really does look like it's headed for outer space.

Ken Rockwell...
The best website ever for people wanting to get into photography is:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/
He gives you no simple no B.S advice on everything to do with photography.
Before I came across his site photography for me was really confusing and seemed very expensive - you have to buy a latest hi-tech camera and loads of complex accessories etc. etc.
What I like about Ken rockwell is he understands all the photography industries tactics for bamboozling the customer and helps you find a camera suitable for what you want to do and for how much you have to spend.
Next post I'll talk more about what gear I ended up getting.
